This is a place to learn about programming the Apple IIgs.
This site is a result of a conversations with fellow Apple developers who, like myself, found a lack of centralized resources for Apple IIgs specific documentation. The goal is to add the ability for user contributed content via a wiki, forums and other collaboration tools. The site has been running since 2014, but I'm still just getting started. I hope you enjoy it and if you'd like to help out, let me know via the contact page.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you find something interesting about the Apple IIgs!
Visit the reference library for a list of known print and online books.
A list of languages and development tools available for the AppleIIgs
There are many other wonderful sites dedicated to the Apple II and programming. We've compiled a list here.
Hopefully we can build an active community here, but in the meantime, there are some well-established places to meet like-minded Apple II enthusiasts
I want to have a documentation Wiki that the community can use to fill in gaps left by other references and to track recent changes in the platform. I'm still considering how to manage this for the types of data we need to collect. So in the meantime, visit the reference library and forums.
The forums are up but unfortunately we don't have lots of time to moderate for new users. There is some good information there and we'll keep them running as long as it makes sense.
